Unfortunately, he had one of his crazy nights, up from 2-4:30 the night before totally wired and twitchy miserable. School had misplaced all his paperwork and did not have him registered. Turns out the school has uniforms and I didn't get the memo (maybe because they didn't know he was coming!). No record of signing him up for the bus either. If he felt anything like I felt this morning I was sending him to school with 1,000 pounds pressing on his skull and two burning coals for eyes.
On the plus side he marched right in and hung up his backpack - past several crying kids and worried parents. The teacher said he only tried to hit several kids. She didn't mention that he connected with any of them. When I picked him up he seemed a little dazed, but was wearing the same shorts and underwear I sent him in (= no accidents!). He saved the crying biting scratching screaming meltdown for the less public drop-off at Evangelina's.
yeah, I didn't get any photos today.... so I'll include one from yesterday...happier times, the second before I got soaked.
